About us
I began my new life path in 2004, after experiencing a light-bulb moment during a much needed break at a health spa. We were working crazy hours in our own business, travelling hundreds of miles around the country each week, and doing well. It just hit me that I couldn’t work like this any more, and that it might be much saner to be working in an environment like this. And yes, I had just hit 40!
We had been home a couple of weeks, and I came across a book on Reflexology by Doreen Bayly. I started reading it, and couldn’t put it down. I began to experiment on my own feet, treating a headache, and warding off a sore throat. It worked. I was totally hooked!
A series of coincidences and chance meetings/conversations with various people led me to begin my ITEC training with Pam Bence in Derby, where I studied Anatomy & Physiology, followed by Massage, and later on, Reflexology at East Midlands College. My Reiki attunements were taken with Reiki Master Wendy Lowe, in Kirkby. I find myself being increasingly drawn to energy work and healing, and am passionate about the use of crystals in treatments, and the way our health can be improved by balancing our energy centres (chakras).
I work mainly from my treatment room in Belper, Derbyshire, and also offer a Pamper Day Experience to anyone in residential care. My philosophy of care is to treat everyone holistically, as an individual, and whether they are visiting me for health or emotional issues, or just for pampering, their confidentiality and individuality is respected. I tailor-make the treatments to each person, adapting them wherever necessary, and I have many years practical experience working with the elderly, dementia patients, clients with learning difficulties, together with anyone who is terminally ill.
I offer all my clients the best professional care that I can, in a safe, comfortable caring environment, and aim to empower them by showing them the tools that they can use to attain the ultimate harmony of mind, body and spirit.
My clients range from teens to ninety-somethings, visiting with a variety of health issues, or just for pampering, knowing that I will adapt the treatment to suit their individual condition.

You can meet me at various Mind Body & Spirit events throughout the year, the 2 main ones being at Mansfield Civic Centre, (mansfieldshow.com) and Derby University (whitelightevents.co.uk).
These are usually around May and November, but exact dates and details can be found on the respective websites.
They offer a great opportunity to meet like-minded people, and enjoy free talks and workshops, and learn all about new stuff, get some retail therapy, and some fab taster treatments from all the different therapists.
For your peace of mind, I have Public Liability Insurance and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
I am also a member of the Complementary Therapists Association (www.ctha.com), fully registered with Embody (embodyforyou.com) and am CRB checked.
